Senior Retreat

Year 12 students travelled to Jindabyne last Wednesday to participate in their three-day Senior Retreat. The theme of this retreat, A Future Full of Hope, is based on the scripture passage “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13) With this as a focus, students took part in large and small group sessions throughout the retreat. Students also participated in prayer, and celebrated Mass with Father Martins on Thursday evening. Thank you to Father Martins for travelling all that way to celebrate with us.

Year 12 had a fantastic time away spending time with each other and the great team of staff that accompanied them. On Thursday they had the opportunity to see the sights of Jindabyne with students participating in various recreational activities including mountain biking, standup paddle boarding, kayaking, and abseiling. It was wonderful seeing Year 12 enjoy each other’s company and take some time away from studies, to be reflective and to also have fun.
