School Photos
School photos will be held next week on Tuesday 9 February. Photo envelopes were distributed to each student during Homeroom earlier this week. Family photo envelopes can be collected from the front office.
All students are to be dressed in their full summer uniform. Jumpers and jackets will need to be removed for the photo.
Photos can be purchased online before photo day. Each student will need to hand in their own photo envelope to the photographers on photo day. When completing the envelope we ask you to write the House Name and Number in the section required, eg. Chis 2, Mac 5, Xav 7.
Year group photos will be taken in the Hall, followed by individual photos.

NSW SCHOOL VACCINATION PROGRAM
Each year, NSW Health works in partnership with schools to offer the vaccines recommended by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) for adolescents as part of the school vaccination program.

NSW Health will be at the College to administer the vaccinations. The program will include:

Parent information kits have been distributed to Year 7 and Year 10 students during Homeroom this week. If your child missed a form, please collect a kit from the front office.
Parent information kits are to be returned by Friday 12 February.
Parent Information Kits include an information sheet, consent form, and privacy statement. To consent to the vaccination of their child, parents/guardians are advised to:
- read all the information provided
- complete the consent form, including signing their name next to the vaccine/s they would like their child to receive
- return the completed consent form to their child’s school
- ensure that their child eats breakfast on the day of the school vaccination clinic.
Please note that to improve vaccination completion, students will be opportunistically offered any missed doses during Year 7 or 8 (for HPV and dTpa vaccination) and during Year 10 or 11 (for Meningococcal ACWY vaccination) or consent signed in 2020.
Parents/guardians who wish to withdraw their consent for any reason may do so by writing to the school Principal or phoning the school. The Procedure for Withdrawal of Consent is available on the NSW Health website at www.health.nsw.gov.au/immunisation/Pages/withdraw_consent.aspx.
A Record of Vaccination will be provided to each student vaccinated at each clinic on a physical card. Details about vaccinations given at school will also be uploaded to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) to support complete vaccination histories.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Kym Bush SNSWLHD Immunisation Coordinator, Goulburn PHU on 1300 066 055.
Students receiving the vaccination can wear their sports uniform to school on the vaccination day.
Year 7 PAT timetable
Year 7 students will be completing their online Progressive Achievement Tests (PAT) for Reading and Mathematics during Weeks 2 and 3.
PAT Assessments provide objective, norm-referenced information to teachers about their students’ skills and understandings in a range of key areas. Each PAT has its own proficiency scale with descriptors outlining the content and skills students are consolidating at any given point on that scale. Each PAT assessment provides data on student performance, making PAT ideal for understanding students’ current strengths and weaknesses, informing teaching and learning, and monitoring progress over the year. The tests are online, multiple-choice and each test will take approximately 40 minutes. I encourage all students to do their best during these tests as the data will be used by their class teachers.
