Olympian and gold medalist Mack Horton Zoom visit
Last week, Year 9 participated in a presentation by Olympian and gold medallist, Mack Horton. The special presentation titled ‘Olympics Unleashed Online’ allowed Mack to interact virtually with students via ZOOM. Olympics Unleashed, presented by Optus, is taking athletes into NSW classrooms to motivate students to be their personal best and inspire them to overcome challenges.
The College also had the privilege of hosting James and Nathan from Channel 9, who were filming throughout the morning and interviewed several students and our Principal, Jacqui Heffernan. Channel 9 were very supportive in acknowledging the difficult year we have experienced on the South Coast.
