Sports News
On Friday 13 September three Carroll College teams travelled to Canberra to participate in the Brumbies Rugby High School 7s Finals.
Teams qualify for the tournament by winning their regional gala day. Our Year 7/8 Boys, Year 7/8 Girls and Year 9/10 Boys were all champions of the Batemans Bay gala day, earning the right to play in the finals.
Champion teams from the ACT and Southern NSW converged on Southwell Park to compete for the title of Brumbies Region Champion. All three of our teams played well on the day and were competitive in all games.
The 7/8 Boys had one win and two losses to finish 5th.
The 7/8 Girls had one win and two losses to finish third.
Our 9/10 Boys had one win and three losses to finish 3rd.
Well done to all players who participated in the day. Thank you to Mr Mulally and Miss Gray for their assistance with the teams.
