“On 2^nd April, we had 35 boys attend the South Coast Country Cup for rugby league in Batemans Bay. While we did not record a win on the day across our three teams, the boys put in an outstanding effort considering that all of our teams played the entire day with at least two less players than is required for rugby league, after a string of injuries and students pulling out at the last minute meant we were undermanned. The boys didn’t use this as an excuse and played hard and showed excellent sportsmanship the entire day, and managed to be close in all matches they competed in! A big thank you to Miss Grima and Mr Knight who assisted on the day.”
