Captain's Corner
Good morning Mrs Heffernan, staff and students. It’s amazing to see you all here. We have got a lot to look forward to this term and myself and the entire SLT are excited to get things underway. Leading our assembly today is the new Student Leadership Team - Myself Annabelle, George, Lukas, Aimee, Sophee, Minny, Max, Sophie, Millie, Georgia, Bronte, Mia, Matilda, Kobi and Olivia. As we now officially take over the role as leaders of the college, we, the Student Leadership team, extend our deepest thoughts and prayers to the former Year 12 cohort who are currently preparing themselves for their HSC exams. We are here to help, so throughout the term if you need any, don’t hesitate to ask!
As we begin Term 4, it’s a great opportunity for all of us to reset and refocus. No matter how the year has gone so far whether it’s been full of success or challenges — this is our chance to finish strong.Let’s come into this term with a fresh mindset, ready to give our best in every subject, every activity, and every moment. And as always, let’s remember the Broulee ABCs, By showing a positive attitude, respectful behaviour, and genuine care for one another, we can make the final term of the year one we’re proud of.
As we begin term 4, we have a lot of exciting events to look forward to. We want to encourage everyone to get involved and to make the most of these opportunities. And just a reminder to ensure your parents have submitted permission through compass one week before the event or you will not be able to attend. Some events to look forward to this term are:
Week 1: HSC exams begin and yLEAD Maximising the Badge leadership day with SLT and SRC
Week 2: SLT Training Trip to Canberra
Week 3: Yr 10 Course Counselling and very importantly, we have World Teachers Day and Day for Daniel on the Friday.
Week 4: Interhouse Battle for Yr 7 and 11, Yr 7 Formation Day and Yr 8 French Film Festival
Week 5: Yr 12 Formal and Coota Touch

Looking forward to these events over the second half of the term we should remember to celebrate every bit of progress we make, not just our successes. It’s important that everyone participates wherever possible to make this term a positive end to the year.
Annabelle: Term 4 is here, the finish line is in sight… and yes, time is going to fly! Keep showing up for each other. Support your friends, encourage your classmates, and don’t forget to have fun along the way. A positive attitude goes a long way — not just for you, but for the people around you.
