Mountain Biking
On Friday 22 August, 20 students were taken out to Mogo Mountain Bike Park for our second day of riding. Although the trials were a little wet from the previous day's rain, we were able to stay mostly dry and mud free and experience an amazing day on the bikes. We covered over 14km of riding with no injuries and no bike issues, and the students represented themselves and the College with great pride.
We have already built a strong relationship with Ride Mogo bike shop, where students have been able to access expert bike support and equipment from Angus and his team. For future College riding days, the Batemans Bay Mountain Bike Club has offered to run a free BBQ for our students at the end of the ride to help build more community partnerships and relationships with the club and the store. We welcome this upcoming opportunity and will look to continue to build more community partnerships.

I encourage serious mountain bikers to consider registering for the upcoming Sea Otter Mountain Bike festival, where there is a schools race. I have linked the website below.
