Dear CCB,

As we kick off Term 2, we are excited to continue fostering a sense of community, connection, and support for everyone at the College. At the heart of our efforts this term is the wellbeing of our students, staff, and families. We believe that a strong, supportive community helps us all thrive, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels valued and cared for. With a busy calendar ahead, we are thrilled to host several exciting events, including Carroll Day and Mother’s Day Breakfast in Week 2, The DOOF with the theme of ‘2000s’ in Week 5, and the Teddy Bears Picnic for the SRC to attend in Week 4. These activities are designed to celebrate the school and to recognise all the individuals within our community and pathways with the primary schools.

In addition to these events, the staff are proud to be part of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, where we can support a fantastic cause and connect with one another over a warm cup of tea during our AM break in Week 4. Each of these events plays an important role in strengthening our sense of community and supporting the wellbeing of all members of the College. We look forward to seeing the SRC commence their Wellbeing Wednesday initiatives in the HUB and engage in the different opportunities they will present to the students. Last week we saw Sophee M and Mikayla C from Year 11 arrange a Kahoot and all students involved had a fun time competing for a chocolate treat.

I look forward to seeing the multiple events this term and to continue assisting our students to deliver activities and opportunities for their peers to enjoy.
