To all of our students and families, Welcome to week 10, of Term 1.
As we wrap up the final week of term, I think it is important to reflect on the success we have had in many of our teaching and learning activities across the college, and congratulate our students who have worked consistently and with enthusiasm over the term.

Nearly 100% of our students have received positive recognition this term for their efforts, application and positive contributions, with 503 positive awards being recorded. This is such a wonderful achievement and testament to the consistent, clear and high expectations we have established across Carroll, inline with Classroom Mastery Pedagogy and Catalyst. The science of learning strategies have seen our students succeed in a variety of areas across Key Learning Areas.

I remind all Year 12 students to rest, exercise and unwind over the Autumn break, but to also revise and make a study plan for the coming term.  Most assessments are finalised for Term 1, with a final two being administered this week. Most of our junior students are encouraged to rest, relax and reenergise before they return to the college at the end of April.

In Term 2, there are many learning opportunities for our students organised across all Key Learning Areas from 7-12. I encourage all students to participate with enthusiasm and confidence in these beneficial learning opportunities.

I would like to wish all families a safe and happy holiday, and a blessed Easter - full of family, friends and celebration.

Kind regards

Ms Linda Dwyer
