As Term 1 comes to a close, it’s been a vibrant and exciting start to the year for Chisholm House. With a jam-packed calendar of events, our students have embraced every opportunity to connect, lead, compete and grow. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights that made this term one to remember.

Term 1 kicked off with a splash at the annual Swimming Carnival, where Chisholm students dove in with energy and team spirit. A big thank you to our competitors and student leaders who showed great sportsmanship and House pride throughout the day.
Our Year 12s took time away from campus for their much-anticipated Senior Retreat – a chance to reflect, reconnect and refocus ahead of their final year. It was a powerful experience filled with personal growth, bonding and meaningful conversations. We’re so proud of the maturity and openness our Chisholm seniors brought to the retreat.
Patron’s Day was a meaningful celebration of our Houses. Students reflected on her legacy of compassion, resilience and service to others. Through activities, liturgy and House time, we honoured spirit and explored how we can follow in the footsteps of our Patrons, within our own college and the wider community.
Chisholm athletes represented the House with pride and determination, showing teamwork and perseverance on the field, court and track. Congratulations to all those who participated – your energy and effort haven’t gone unnoticed.
'Harmony Week' was a beautiful celebration of the cultural diversity within our college. Chisholm students played a key role in events that promoted inclusivity, understanding and respect. The week reminded us of the strength and richness of our community.
Students joined peers from St Mary's and St Bernard's in a Combined Schools Mass, celebrating our shared faith and connection as part of a larger Catholic community. It was a special opportunity to come together in prayer and reflection, and our House representatives did us proud in both attendance and leadership roles.
As we head into the holidays, I want to thank all students, staff and families for making Term 1 such a successful start to 2025. Chisholm House continues to be a place of courage, compassion, and community – and I can’t wait to see what Term 2 brings!

Warm regards
