Captain's Corner
Hi, I am Brooklyn, one of your Social Justice captains for 2025 at the college. My goals from the beginning of being a College Captain have been to help and care for students at the school. I intend on doing this by spreading wisdom, courage and justice. I also intend on being reliable and accountable for the remainder of my time at the college. A quote I often live by is from 1 Corinthians 16:14. It states, Let all that you do be done in love. Here are a few little things about me:
-
I am a very nice person who loves a conversation
-
I enjoy playing drums
-
I enjoy striving for success.
Hi! I’m Angus, the other Social Justice Captain (the one with the curly blonde hair). I decided to put my name in for Social Justice Captain because I recognised the meaningful impact I could have on the college community that went beyond a bake sale or empty donation box. As a Catholic school, we are responsible for spreading messages of inclusion, generosity and justice.
Some random facts about me are:
-
Orange is my favourite colour
-
I hate mushrooms (they’re a fungus)
-
My family is the most important thing to me
-
I am terrible at parking, especially a reverse parallel park.
As I wrap up my autobiographical piece, remember to hand in your homework (it’s inevitable), remember to smile because high school isn’t that serious (it can even be fun sometimes) and swing by the music block to tell me any of your ideas (just don’t try and steal my table).
Angus :)
