We are thrilled to announce that Georgia Baldwin (Year 10) has taken a significant step towards her future career by signing up for an early commencement School-Based Apprenticeship. Georgia is pursuing a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and will be gaining invaluable practical experience with her employer, "Maranatha Lodge".
 
This achievement is a testament to Georgia's hard work, commitment and ambition. By combining her studies with practical work at "Maranatha Lodge" Georgia is preparing for a bright future in the nursing industry. Congratulations to Georgia, on this promising venture!

Year 10 Careers Expo
Are you in Year 10 and keen for your first job or wondering about apprenticeships or traineeships? Or are you considering a tertiary pathway? The South Coast & Far South Coast Careers & Employment Expo will provide you with information on career choices, further education, training pathways and industry advice. 
 
Date: Friday 9 August
Time: Period 3 to Period 6
Place: Hanging Rock Education Precinct
Cost: Free - complete the permission note on Compass. Transport is provided (50 spaces available). 
 
Information
Expo Hall: The main expo hall will have over 30 exhibitors from various industries, universities and apprenticeship organisations.  
TAFE: The TAFE building will have hands-on displays in Hairdressing, Automotive, Beauty, Hospitality and Carpentry. These displays provide insights of these career paths and vocational study.
UOW: UOW will provide seminars throughout the day on topics including Uni, TAFE, alternative pathways to school and how to compose a competent resume.
 
ACU Guarantee
Early offer program

Guarantee your place at ACU, even before your Year 12 HSC exams. The ACU Guarantee program offers eligible Year 12 students a place at ACU based on your Year 11 results.
Offers may be made as early as September. While successful applicants must complete their HSC exams, they can do so secure in the knowledge that their Year 11 results will meet ACU's early entry requirements. Students may also enhance entry score by including short personal statements that give ACU an insight into personal circumstances and motivation for university study.
