2k24 Gridiron
On Monday 23 September, Year 10 hosted the 2k24 Flag Gridiron Tournament. This is an annual event that our Year 10 students have been preparing for all of Term 3. Attendance and participation was excellent and for some of our students, it was their first-ever experience of playing in a tournament/team sport environment.
Year 10 were in charge of all facets of the day including uniforms, training, tactics, umpiring, officiating, announcing/DJ, media and set-up. They did a tremendous job and should be proud of their efforts. Team Brady, Team Fogarty, Team Large and Team Thane took to the field in six exciting pool games and two worthy finals.
Congratulations to Large’s Lifeguards who were crowned tournament champions. Our student voted MVP’s for the day were Kodi Perkins and Grace Colebrook. Our Combine champions were Luke Drewson and Miah Chatfield. Well done to all of Year 10 for their organisation of the day and their amazing team spirit. We are already looking forward to 2k25!!!
