Snow Excursion

Students from Years 10 to 12 participated in our annual CCB snow trip, heading to Berridale with high anticipation for days filled with skiing and snowboarding at Perisher.

Upon arrival, the students settled into their dorms, enjoyed a hearty dinner, and prepared for their snowy adventure. The experience included many first-time snow encounters, instructional skiing and snowboarding sessions at Smiggins, and exhilarating full days on the challenging slopes of Perisher.

The trip concluded successfully, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Mr Coates, Mr Fogarty, Mrs Smith, Mr and Mrs Graziani and the wonderful CCB students, marking a joyful and tired journey back home.

On Thursday, August 29, our Year 9/10 Girls Netball team competed in the Regional Finals of the South Coast Netball Cup.

Their first match was against a strong St Johns team. They then faced Trinity College, securing a close 8-7 victory. In their final pool game, they won 9-8 against Warilla High School, which earned them a spot in the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, they played St Peters but were defeated 10-5. However, they bounced back in the playoff game for third place, winning 9-8 against The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS).

The girls demonstrated commendable representation of the college, showing positive attitudes and excellent team spirit throughout the competition.

A special thank you goes to Kehlei for umpiring and to Marissa for managing the team.
