Students are studying a Certificate II in Active Volunteering and last Thursday was the first day of being a volunteer at Banksia Lodge. 

 

Emma Brown, Matthew Jenkins and Daniella Roberson were exceptional. They assisted residents in an exercise class, served beverages and gave hand massages while chatting to the residents. 

 

It was amazing to see these young adults giving their focus to others and enriching the lives of the residents of Banksia Lodge. We have a number of other visits planned to Banksia. Thank you to the Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator, Lorraine Walton for allowing us to be a part of the Banksia Community.
