RE Matters!
During August the College will be hosting fundraising events and asking for donations, for this year's St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal.
Mr Hamer and his Year 9 RE class have kindly volunteered to run this year’s fundraising and will be organising events over the coming weeks. More details from these students are below.
The St Vincent de Paul Society is a Catholic organisation that yearns to live the teachings of the gospel by serving the poor with love, kindness, hope and justice. The members and volunteers of this organisation reach out to those vulnerable in the community and provide them with money, vouchers, food and warm clothing.
This winter appeal we will be raising awareness on this organisation in hopes of helping those in need this winter. We hope to achieve this by putting together fundraising activities:
Friday 26th August
- Mufti Day/Beanie/Scarf - gold coin donation
- Food Sales - Tap and go will be available
- QKR donations.
We look forward to your support.
