As the school year draws to a close, 11 staff members are busily completing the final steps in order to graduate from a year-long professional learning course run by Teach Well.  The High Impact Teaching Practices in Action (HITP in Actions) series has been undertaken by staff from a range of key learning areas and has involved attending professional learning days, completing a variety of deliverables including film lessons that have received direct feedback on professional practice and pedagogy.

The “Vision and Values” statement from Teach Well provides insight into the guiding principles of the course and ways in which learning such as this benefits teachers and students alike.

Congratulations to the graduating teachers of the Teach Well HITP in Action series:

An additional eight teachers will undertake the course in 2022 whilst the whole staff continues to all engage with the CE’s Catalyst professional learning program. It is an exciting time for improved professional practice in our classrooms.
