Year 11 Hospitality students have been cooking remotely this week, cooking a lovely family dinner, 'Creamy chicken traybake' with leeks and mushrooms.

It was a fun activity to do together and the parents were happy to have a family meal prepared.

A lovely bit of feedback from Tamara Duncombe’s mum Megan is below;

"Just sending you this email with some feedback for today’s Creamy and risoni bake made by Tamara. It was a very tasty meal and a very easy family dinner. Tamara did a great job in making, serving, presentation and cleaning up. I had mine with some steamed green vegetables. I’m sure all the families would have enjoyed".

And from student Grace Reid, “The meal was excellent.”

The recommendation was for more vegetables to be added, maybe carrots etc.

Mrs Kenna and I hope that you try the recipe with your family this week, the recipe is below.

In the next Year 11 remote practical cooking class, students have requested that we make a Lemon meringue pie. Charlotte Jones has supplied the recipe which I am sure will be delicious.
