Assistant Principal Curriculum News
Thank you to all students and parents for your ongoing efforts in this remote learning environment. Please ensure you are getting enough time away from the screen and getting out into the sunshine and taking advantage of this beautiful spring weather.
NESA will be releasing the revised HSC examination timetable early this month. As soon it is released, students will be able to access their individual exam timetable on Students-on-Line. We are still working on the logistics of what Year 12 classes will look like next term. We are in communication with Catholic Education and the other CECG secondary schools. When details are finalized, we will email all Year 12 students and parents with the details.
We are currently working on an updated Remote Timetable for the start of Term 4 to better reflect the original timetable so that all courses get to see their students on a more regular basis. We will be emailing all students a new timetable in Week 10, for the start of Term 4. Parents will be emailed so they can check with their child that they have received it.
We are looking at what we can do about the postponed Parent Teacher evenings from earlier in the term. We are waiting to see if our region comes out of the lockdown on 10 September before a final decision is made. At the moment, it looks like we will hold them over until next term. More information will be emailed out when the Government makes the announcement about our regional lockdown.
Please keep safe,
John O’Neill
