YEAR 6 CONFIRMATION RETREAT
Last Friday 4 June, Carroll College hosted the Year 6 Confirmation Retreat, led by our Youth Minister Liarna and our Year 10 Youth Ministry students.
Year 6 students from St Bernard’s and St Mary’s spent the day at the College and engaged in a number of activities related to the sacrament. Youth Ministry students facilitated a rotation of four activities that explained the elements and symbols of the sacrament, the significance of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the qualities of heroes and saints that guide us in our lives.
It was a wonderful day for all involved with Year 6 and Youth Ministry students enjoying lunch together and ending the day in shared prayer. Thank you to our wonderful Youth Ministry students and Liarna who led Year 6 in meaningful activities and prayer. It was fantastic to see relationships form between our three Catholic schools.
We keep the Year 6 Confirmation candidates in our prayers as they prepare for the sacrament which they receive next weekend.

Vinnies Winter Appeal
Each year, Carroll College supports the annual Vinnies Winter Appeal. Donations of warm items of clothing such as hats, gloves, scarves and jackets are welcomed. Vinnies would also love to receive blankets or other warm household items. Naturally, all items need to be freshly washed, or preferably new. Due to a range of health restrictions, food is no longer able to be received by Vinnies. Cash donations are always welcomed and to make donating very easy, the College has set up a donations link on Qkr!
Liarna Miller, Youth Minister, and members of the Social Justice have been selling hot chocolates at AM Break on Thursday and Friday. Our goal is to receive a donation of $3 from every member of our community which would mean we will have provided basic necessities to those in need.
