Vinnies Winter Appeal

Once again, the College will be supporting the annual Vinnies Winter Appeal.  Donations of warm items of clothing such as hats, gloves, scarves and jackets are welcomed.  Vinnies would also love to receive blankets or other warm household items. Naturally all items need to be freshly washed, or preferably new.  Due to a range of health restrictions, food is no longer able to be received by Vinnies.  Cash donations are always welcomed and to make donating very easy, the College has set up a donations link on Qkr!

Liarna Miller, Youth Minister, is working with members of the Social Justice group to increase awareness of those living in difficult circumstances and to raise money for this dedicated organisation. One of their activities will be selling hot chocolates at AM Break in Weeks 7-10. The Social Justice group has other initiatives planned to support the 2021 Vinnies Winter Appeal. As with our efforts for Project Compassion this year, a donation of $3 from every member of our community would easily allow us to cover each of the goals listed below.
